Armour of the Legion

Long time no update... funny how that happens. However, I have not been entirely idle. Last week, I managed to get my Land Raider Phobos built, and also cleaned up and prepped my Vindicator and two Contemptor dreadnoughts.

DRIVE ME CLOSER

This Mortis is made from the plastic Contemptor, slightly reposed and covered in wolfy bits.

I don't much like the heresy vindicators that Forge World make, they lack the massive siege shield which is the best part of the tank, in my opinion. So I used the plastic one - the saving didn't hurt either!

This lovely Relic Contemptor has too much nice detail to cover it all in furs and shields... I might stick on a couple of little things but I'll more or less leave it as is.

Nothing too exciting unfortunately, hopefully I'll get some paint on these sooner rather than later. My friend and I have decided to play through the Burning of Prospero campaign from Inferno, when I get it... Obviously, he'll be building a Thousand Sons army to face off against me, and no doubt he will do it much faster and prettier than me. Oh well. That will also mean we'll want a Prospero themed gaming board, but we are currently stuck for ideas and how exactly to go about that. We will see. Regardless, this should help to motivate me in assembling a mighty legion.

That's about all for this update, until next time!
